the damaged spirits, and the wounded souls.
To those who drunkenly cry themselves to sleep every night,
who have mastered the art of looking happy while dying inside.
To those who are very well acquainted with the shadows that lurk within
and have in depth conversations with the demons that haunt them.
To those who look forward to the dark
so they can rip open their souls with the jagged pieces of what’s left of their hearts.
To those who have made their bed at rock bottom
and learned that hoping was dangerous.
This book is for you.
This isn’t for the perfect, the content, the whole, and the like
This book is for the broken ones
like you and I.
